Director General Assistant's Office
The Director General Assistant's Office was set up in 2004, principally to focus on the Village Sector (the former Municipality of Mont-Tremblant) and the lakes located on the municipal territory as a whole.
As well as supporting the Director General's Office on certain matters, the assistant town manager is also responsible for the smooth functioning of the Mayor's Office and the management of internal and external communication of the Town of Mont-Tremblant.
The assistant town manager for the Village Sector and the Lakes is a resource person for citizens living close to the lakes and in the Village Sector as well as for that area's business community. It is her responsibility to respond to specific requests and complaints related to these activity sectors.
The Mayor's Office is also the responsibility of the assistant town manager. This secretarial function for Mayor's Office consists of ensuring follow-up of the mayor's agenda and that of the council, responsibility for written and electronic correspondence addressed to the mayor and council, and for all communication coming from the mayor.
The communications counselor, Madame France Léonard, is also in this department. She ensures that the town's internal and external communication functions (press conferences, speeches, organization of activities and events, town website, Info Mont-Tremblant news bulletin, adherence to the standards established for use of the Town emblem, media relations, etc.) are carried out. The position of communications counselor, created early in 2006, is an important communications resource for all municipal services.
Madame Suzie Pellerin, clerk/secretary, is an important member of the department. She helps the assistant town manager and the communications counselor. Among other things, she is responsible for mail, archives, budget monitoring and logistics for the organization of activities and events.
