The Domaine Saint-Bernard, in partnership with the Club d’ornithologie des Hautes-Laurentides, has set up a bird garden where a variety of trees and shrubs are planted with significant potential for avian wildlife. Several nest boxes have been set up to house some species of birds and a creek has been dug so that the birds can quench their thirst. A small kiosk invites to rest and several informative posters dot the pathe of the garden.

Wheeler and Kuchar Pavilions - Center of nature
The Wheeler Nature Center, home to the Domaine Saint-Bernard, is dedicated to the natural sciences and renewable energies. It is the center of discovery of fauna, flora and the environment of the Domaine Saint-Bernard and contains interpretation panels on nature, geothermics and solar energy. Naturally, it is itself powered by solar energy and includes a geothermal system. A garden of medicinal plants, with interpretation panels, was built at the entrance of the Wheeler Nature Center.
As a continuation of the Wheeler Nature Center is the Kuchar Pavilion, a three-season log shelter for enjoying, admiring and listening to nature. From here, you can see the plain of the Domaine, the beach, the lake and Mont-Onontio. The whole in the shade of the sun or protected from the bad weather, to the sound of the singing of the birds and the wind.
Beginning at the Wheeler Nature Center, the 2-km Wheeler course, consisting of ten exercise stations of different intensity levels, runs along the Raynaud Lake tour and offers a challenge that combines nature and training.
