Located 500 metres upstream from the Montée Ryan (Beauvallon Bridge) the Jackrabbit Bridge links the two sides of the river and connects two important regional attractions: the Domaine Saint-Bernard and Mont Tremblant Resort.
The Jackrabbit Bridge gives citizens, tourists, vacationers and seasonal residents, who are biking, walking or cross-country skiing, the opportunity to admire one of the loveliest landscapes in the region.
The Jackrabbit Bridge was named in honor of Herman “Jackrabbit” Smith-Johannsen, a well-known area pioneer who lived to the age of 111. He loved cross-country skiing and the values associated with it, such as respect for nature and material simplicity.
