100 more white pines on the territory

Le 18 October 2019

The Club Rotary, in collaboration with the Ville de Mont-Tremblant, has planted 100 white pines at the entrance of Nos-Étoiles Park, located on Iris Street, on Thursday, October 17th. This initiative was inspired by the Grande marche pour le climat that took place on September 27th and was carried out to capture more CO2 on the territory of the City as part of the fight against climate change. Citizens will see a pine forest of white pine emerge in a few years at the entrance to this park. The City is pleased to have collaborated in this project by allowing this plantation on one of its grounds. The City is also committed to watering following planting to promote the rooting of trees in addition to feeding the soil with potting soil. A commemorative plaque will be installed at the planting site. Thank you and congratulations to the members of the Club Rotary Mont-Tremblant for this great initiative!
