The Ville de Mont-Tremblant Fire and emergency services is principally responsible for fire prevention, firefighting, research into the causes of fires, and rescue. It also participates, along with other contributors, in the fight against other disasters (earthquake, flood, storm, etc.), assistance to accident victims and to persons who require evacuation because of a disaster.
This department serves the Ville de Mont-Tremblant, the Municipalité de Brébeuf and the Municipalité de Lac-Tremblant-Nord (however, the Baie-des-Ours district is served through an agreement with the Municipalité de Labelle). In other words, it protects a territory about 275 sq. km in size.
