Unnumbered plastics are not accepted in municipal recycling collections. Consequently, these products end up in the garbage and ultimately in landfills. To limit the volume of plastic in circulation on the territory of Mont-Tremblant, by-law (2022)-206 prohibits the distribution of certain single-use plastics. Plastic utensils, coffee sticks and straws will no longer be available to consumers as of June 28, 2023. Therefore, we encourage you to use reusable items when you visit food service establishments, whether for on-site consumption or take-out.
