Permits and certificates

Do you expect to be doing some construction? You can meet with one of the Town Planning inspectors to present your project from Monday to Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Friday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. The inspectors will fill you in on the steps to follow and the documents and information to provide in order to get your permit as quickly as possible.

Waiting period for a permit

The waiting period varies from two to 30 days depending on the kind of project, whether the request is complete and how busy things are.

The waiting period estimate does not apply to files that have to go through the town planning consulting committee (CCU) and the town council, such as requests for minor variances and those subject to a plan for architectural placement and integration (PIIA). To find out about the waiting period for those files, consult the calendar.
