If you received a notice of judgment but were not aware that a statement of offence had been issued against you, if you couldn’t be present at your court date or if you never received the notice of hearing, you may present a request for revocation of the judgment within a 15-day period following knowledge of the judgment rendered against you.
If you were convicted by default (which added some costs) but were unaware that a statement of offence had been issued against you and you do not contest the offence or if you already have sent a guilty plea or a payment which wasn’t received by the court and you were convicted by default, you may present a request to reduce costs within a 15-day period following knowledge of the judgment rendered against you.
If you need help or information, do not hesitate to contact the Court staff although they cannot, under any circumstances, provide you with legal counsel.
