Become a candidate in a municipal election

  Nomination filing dates: September 17 to October 1, 2021, 4:30 p.m.

  Running in a municipal election (DGE-1054-VA)
  Guide for completing the application for authorization of an independent candidate or of an elector who undertakes to run as an independent candidate

  Making appointments Please contact the Town Clerk Department by email at elections@villedemont-tremblant.qc.ca or by phone at 819 425-8614, extension 6420. Note: allow 1 hour for the meeting.
  Documents to bring to the meeting

  • one (1) photo ID (driver's license or health insurance card)

Are you registered on the voters list?

In order for an elector to be able to exercise his right to vote in a municipal election, his name must appear on the list of electors duly drawn up in preparation for the election by the returning officer.

Verification of inscription, addition, withdrawal or modification to the list of electors:

1. If you are resident in Mont-Tremblant

Please contact the information center at 1 888 353-2846 (toll-free) or click here to complete the directeur général des élections form.

2. If your home is not located in Mont-Tremblant, but you own a building or occupy a business establishment

  • Les propriétaires uniques d’un immeuble ou seuls occupants d’un établissement d’entreprise doivent transmettre une demande d’inscription à la liste électorale.
  • Les personnes copropriétaires d’un immeuble ou cooccupantes d’un établissement d’entreprise doivent désigner entre elles, au moyen d’une procuration, une seule personne qui a le droit d’être inscrite sur la liste électorale.
  • À titre de non domicilié, vous avez également le droit de vous inscrire au vote par correspondance. En effet, toute personne non domiciliée inscrite sur la liste électorale et qui en fait la demande par écrit, a la possibilité de voter par correspondance. Il suffit de compléter la section pertinente de la demande d’inscription ou de la procuration.
