COVID-19 update: new measures starting January 9

Le 8 January 2021

Following new public health directives announced on Wednesday by the provincial government, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant is implementing new measures, in effect from January 9 until further notice.

Communications

Council sessions and public consultations

Municipal court

  • Payments:
    • by telephone (Mondays only) via 819-425-8614, ext. 2316 with Visa or Mastercard credit card, or using Visa Debit
    • by cheque or postal money order (Cour municipale, 1145, rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont-Tremblant QC  J8E 1V1)
    • through the online services of Banque Nationale and Desjardins

Municipal departments

Library

  • Work stations (WiFi only or with computer) available by reservation by phoning 819-425-8614, ext. 2700
  • The shelves (stacks) of the Samuel Ouimet library remain closed (and the Du Couvent library remains closed)
  • Loan service available upon request by email to cultureetloisirs@villedemont-tremblant.qc.ca
  • Books can be received by appointment at the Samuel-Ouimet library
  • Books can be returned via the book chute or via the interactive terminal when receiving new books (by appointment)

Sports and recreation

  • Aquatic complex (pools): completely closed
  • Arena:  completely closed
  • Gymnasiums: completely closed

Exhibitions and events

  • All events are cancelled
  • Place de la Gare and Salle Alphonse-Desjardins are closed
  • Jardin céleste in the Espace public (town square): 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Première Scène shows: (Bleu Jeans Bleu, Beyries, Lyndsay and De Larochellière)
    • Annulation ou report des spectacles prévus en février 2021 (Bleu Jeans Bleu, Beyries, Lyndsay et De Larochellière)

Trails

Outdoor skating rinks

  • Maximum 25 persons per rink
  • Limit on the number of persons admitted to heated buildings
  • Depending on the condition of the ice: villedemont-tremblant.qc.ca/patin
  • Closed during curfew (7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
  • The practice of hockey (free or organized) is strictly prohibited on all outdoor rinks

Collection of residual materials and the Ecocentre

  • No change to schedule

Public transit (TCMT)

  • Regular schedule only (no extra hours on Friday and Saturday)
