Please note that Du Diable River could reach the high flood threshold around midnight, on the night of Monday, April 17 to Tuesday, April 18.
People whose residence is located on the following roads are strongly advised to evacuate their homes as soon as possible:
- Émond Street West
- Chemin de la Plage-Vanier
- Régimbald Street
- Beausoleil Street
The current and apprehended flood level could prevent emergency services (police, fire safety department and ambulances) from coming to your aid in the event of an incident. In order not to compromise your safety and that of the emergency responders, it is therefore strongly recommended that you relocate to a safe place until the water level becomes safe again. We will notify you by sending an alert when this is the case.
When you have evacuated your home, please call 819 425-8614 to let us know.
If your residence is on another road at risk of flooding, prepare to evacuate as well. Have your 72h kit assembled, clean your yard of any debris that the water can wash away, and secure any outdoor equipment like a barbecue.
If you park your vehicle on a public road or private driveway during flooding, ensure you and your neighbours park on one side of the roadway to avoid obstructing emergency vehicle traffic.
Remember that bags and sand are available at the following locations:
- 60, Chemin de Brébeuf (municipal garage), Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- 109, Chemin de la Sablière, at all times (24/7).
Bring a shovel.
