Vaccination Passport Required in Mont-Tremblant Facilities and for Municipal Activities

Le 7 September 2021

The vaccination passport has been required since September 1st, but the grace period will be ending on September 15. The Ville de Mont-Tremblant would like to clarify how this new measure will be applied in local facilities and for certain activities.

Municipal Buildings and Facilities

As a general rule, the vaccination passport is required by everyone using our indoor sports facilities, such as the Gilles Cadieux Arena, the Aquatic Complex, the gym and sports centre.

For the cultural facilities (Church Hall, Place de la Gare), you will be required to show your vaccination passport at the entrance. However, there is a provincial exemption for the libraries and Alphonse-Desjardins Room.

The vaccination passport is not required to access City Hall, the Culture and Recreation Department front desk, the Municipal Garage or the Municipal Court.

Public Transit

The vaccination passport is not required on municipal buses.

Municipal Events and Activities

Considering that the vaccination passport is only required for certain municipal activities, information on whether it is required or not will be provided when the municipal event or activity is announced on all of our platforms.

How the Vaccination Passport Works

When you arrive somewhere where the vaccination passport is required, you must provide your COVID-19 proof of vaccination that has a QR code showing your level of protection. Proof of vaccination can be shown in one of three ways:

  • In paper form
  • As a PDF on your mobile device
  • By using the VaxiCode app

Please note that you must also show photo ID with all three options.

For general information on the vaccination passport or to see the list of places where it is required, please visit the Government of Quebec's website at https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/progress-of-the-covid-19-vaccination/covid-19-vaccination-passport. For any questions specifically related to the Ville de Mont-Tremblant's activities or facilities, please don't hesitate to call us at 819-425-8614 at any time.
