COVID-19: Mont-Tremblant adapts to red zone designation

In view of the designation of the MRC des Laurentides as a red zone by the Québec government, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant announces the measures it will institute. These measures will be in effect from December 14 until further notice. The Ville also announces that it is advancing the closure of its municipal offices for the Holiday Season: the offices will be closed from December 19 to January 3 inclusive.

Council sessions and public consultations

Municipal court

  • No collection of fines and no sentencing from December 19 to January 3
  • In the event of a suspended driver’s licence, please appear before 4:30 p.m. on December 18
  • Hearings: information to come

Municipal departments

Library

  • The counter of the Samuel-Ouimet Library will be closed from December 14 (and the Du Couvent Library remains closed)
  • Loans service upon request. Service by email at cultureetloisirs@villedemont-tremblant.qc.ca (but be sure to make your request by December 18 at the latest) 
  • Books pick-up by appointment until December 19
  • No loans from December 20 until January 4 inclusive 
  • Return books via the book returns chute 

Sports and recreation

Aquatic complex

  • Open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. until December 16 inclusive
  • Free swimming and free bathing only
  • Capacity limited to 25 persons

  • Cardio room closed from December 17 

Arena

  • Free skating only from December 17 
  • Reservation required

Gymnasiums

  • Closed until further notice

Exhibitions and events

  • All events are cancelled
  • Place de la Gare (workshop/gallery) and Salle Alphonse-Desjardins (exhibition room) are closed
  • Spectacles de Première Scène (shows): ticket office open (information to come about the 2021 season)

* Vivre Mont-Tremblant Card: Requests will be handled until December 23 inclusive, only by email. It will be possible to receive the card by mail or on-site, without contact, by appointment.
