A mobile COVID-19 testing unit will be deployed by the CISSS des Laurentides on Wednesday, July 8 from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m in the city hall parking area (behind the building). City hall is located at 1145 rue de Saint-Jovite.
This service is provided free of charge and without appointment to all, no matter where their place of residence. The activity will take place rain or shine. Presentation of the provincial health insurance card is required.
Testing is suggested for those who have been in contact with a person having the disease and those who present one of the following signs or symptoms:
- fever;
- respiratory difficulties (trouble breathing);
- the appearance or recent worsening of a cough;
- diarrhea;
- sudden loss of the sense of smell without nasal congestion with or without loss of the sense of taste;
- headache, intense fatigue or significant loss of appetite;
- sore throat.
