Again this year, the Ville de Mont-Tremblant is organizing a free compost and tree distribution that will take place on May 27 at two different sites: the municipal garage and the parking lot of the city hall. Due to the great popularity of this event, we recommend that you arrive early and check the schedule and locations of the distributions.
Distribution Schedule
Saturday, May 27, 2023
- 8:30 am to 12 pm - even-numbered addresses
- 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - odd-numbered addresses
Compost distribution (municipal garage located at 60 Chemin de Brébeuf)
- For small quantities, citizens will have to bring their own shovel and containers and load the compost independently. Filling by mechanical shovel will be offered for trailers only.
- Proof of residence is required (copy of tax bill, electricity bill, Accès Mont-Tremblant card, or driver's license).
- Limited quantities per residence: maximum of one (1) standard 4'x8'x2' trailer.
Tree distribution (parking lot of the Town Hall located at 1145, rue de Saint-Jovite)
- Maximum of one (1) tree per citizen
- While supplies last
- Proof of residency is required (same proof as for the compost distribution)
The distribution of trees is part of Tree and Forest Month and is organized by the Ville de Mont-Tremblant, in collaboration with the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts (MRNF) and the Table Forêt Laurentides organization.
