This summer, book an appointment to give blood.

Le 19 August 2021

This summer, keep hearts beating. Help people who need a blood transfusion regain their health.

The mayor of Mont-Tremblant, Mr. Luc Brisebois, invites you to the blood drive to be held on Wednesday, September 8th, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Saint-Jovite Church located at 940 rue de Saint-Jovite in Mont-Tremblant. The target for that event is 100 donors.

It’s also necessary to make an appointment before going to a blood drive. You can contact: 1-800-343-7264, or email: igive@hema-quebec.qc.ca, or make an appointment online: Web Form - Héma-Québec.
One thousand blood donations are required every day to ensure an optimal reserve level. This is true both in normal circumstances and during a pandemic. Héma-Québec counts on thousands of generous donors to roll up their sleeve during the summer season.

Héma-Québec has everything in place to ensure that donating continues to be a safe experience. Many measures at all collection sites, including access control at the sites by taking the temperature of donors and volunteers, additional sanitizing measures, and revised logistical organization of the drives in order to respect the distancing measures. Can I still donate blood if I have been vaccinated against COVID-19?

Yes, someone who has been vaccinated and is feeling well may donate without delay. Autorised vaccines by Health Canada do not involve a blood donation prohibition period. Before going to a blood drive, you can check your eligibility with Donor Services at 1-800-847-2525 or visit the Héma-Québec website at Héma-Québec, Donors > Blood > Who Can Donate?
