Autumn is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to tackle important priorities. Why not put blood donation near the top of your agenda? It only takes an hour for this act of kindness towards someone waiting for a transfusion or blood product. Just one hour of your time is life-changing.
The City of Mont-Tremblant invites you to attend a blood drive being held on Wednesday, October 12 th , from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Église Saint-Jovite, located at 940, rue de Saint-Jovite, Mont-Tremblant. The goal of this event is to welcome 115 donors.
One thousand blood donations are needed every day in order to ensure optimal reserve levels. Last July, when the blood reserve was dangerously low, people from every region of Québec rolled up their sleeves and answered Héma-Québec’s call. As a result, the blood reserve is now doing well. Blood is a perishable product, however, and it is important to keep the reserve strong. In order to pursue its mission and ensure that we all benefit from a sufficient supply of blood, Héma-Québec counts on the generosity of thousands of donors.
Héma-Québec does everything possible to continue making blood donation a positive experience. To respect your invaluable time, Héma-Québec recommends that you make an appointment before coming to the blood drive. You can do this easily online or by calling 1-800-343-7264.
Before attending a blood drive, we recommend verifying your eligibility. If you still have questions, you can obtain further information by calling Client-Donor Services at 1-800-847-2525.
