Do you really know why gardening is good for the environment?
Atmosphere
When plants produce oxygen, they reduce atmospheric pollution and, with their leaves, absorb any gaseous pollutants and catch dust, ash and pollen.
Water
Plants purify the water quality by absorbing pollutants on the ground. Moreover, they slow down the water runoff and favour infiltration of water in the ground, so it fights against erosion.
Noise
Do you know that 1 meter of leaves damps the noise? In fact, they reduce noise pollution and block at least 8 to 10 decibels.
Wildlife
Plants, trees, leaves are also good for the wildlife, particularly birds, because it is where they build their nest and feed themselves.
Among others, this is why we must not neglect plants, because they create a healthy environment.
